This picture was taken via I-phone 3Gs. I edited the picture using a software 'photoshop.com - Mobile'. First, I use the 'Crop' function to get the best view or side of the picture then click on the colour effect and used the 'Exposure' function to get the best colour and clearer picture.

Description

· Ferns have a hard, scaly, tuberous root, quite fibrous, and a whitish core in the centre. The fronds are three or four feet high, bright green, and doubly pinnate. The numerous leaflets are sessile and oblong, some of the upper ones cut. Ferns can be found in meadows, low moist grounds.

· Morning glory is the common name given to the Ipomoea plant genus of the Convolvulaceae botanical family. Morning glories are usually perennial plants; however, some species which grow in colder climates may be annual plants. In general, morning glories are ornamental vines, with heart-shaped leaves and an array of delicate, colorful flowers in blue, purple, pink or white.
Relevance
In the pictures are some types of non-flowering (ferns) and flowering plants (morning glory) which can be found in Berakas Forest Reserve. The pictures can be used to show pupils the types of flowering and non-flowering plants that are found in Brunei Darussalam. This information can be shared with Year 4 pupils because the topic on Non –flowering and flowering plants is under Year 4 science syllabus. Teacher may used their creativity by using applications such as power point presentation and Microsoft word to show the picture s during Ict lesson.

The software I used to edit the pictures

I took some pictures on plants using my i-phone. I had selected a few pictures then I edited the pictures using photoshop, a software for i-phone. In editing the pictures I had changed the brightness and applied sharpening tools to enhance it. I had also added effects and borders for the pictures. Then, I saved the pictures and transferred it to my laptop and present it using Microsoft word. In the Microsoft word I arranged 3 pictures in one text book, added captions for the plants and heading and arrows to indicate the name of the plants.
